The Sergeant, training the cadets in the film, was my late father, Frederick George Wells. Ex British Army Champion Show Jumper. Joined the Army in 1931, saw service with the B.E.F in France, then Egypt, and later through Italy during WW2, and left in 1953. When i was a young kid, he often spoke of a film being made of his training, and 50yrs later, i have only just discovered it here by accident.
