CU The recruits get their teeth checked. Soldiers stand looking in their mouths. A bunch of men in bathing suits run across beach and into ocean. DS men jumping up and down and splashing in water. Recruits parade; w/ rifles; still in civilian clothes. Officer inspects recruits; tries to rearrange a guy who's not sucking in his gut enough.
