  • Description

Film showing the reception held 25 November by President Johnson as the State Department in Washington.Apparently only two cameramen were permitted in; this is the pooled result of their shooting.

No dope accompanied the film. However, all the characters should be readily identified. The dark haired woman (at one point chatting with Prince Phillip) is Mrs.Johnson,.(She appears early on in the film with a blond woman -- Mrs.J.is screen right in that shot)
Others easy to spot.At one point near the end of the footage de Gaulle moves by from right to left (screen right to screen left, that is) with his back to the camera. He shakes hands with a gentleman (who has an African to his left) who is G.Mennen Williams, Under secretary of States for African Affairs.
