"In the spirit and habit unique to Africa, we did not shy away from discussing our difficulties, nor with masks hide our feelings. Thus, characteristically, we have concluded our work by composing our difference in a manner that baffles advocates of conventional diplomacy and our detractors. I solemnly declare the 10th Ordinary Session of our Assembly closed. Long live African unity. Long live the Organisation of African Unity. And may God bless you all. Until we meet again next year at Mogadishu, Somalia on June 12th 1974. Thank you very much.
