    MR. FALL MALIK, SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE NATIONAL UNION OF WORKERS LED THE MAY DAY CELEBRATIONS. HE MARCHED IN THE PARADE, ALONG WITH WORKERS CARRYING BANNERS AND PLACARDS.

    THE PARADE, WHICH LASTED FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF, FOLLOWED A ROUTE FROM THE WORKERS' EXCHANGE IN NOUAKCHOTT AND WENT THROUGH THE CITY TO THE UNION HEADQUARTER, WHERE THE MEETING WAS HELD.
