    THE CEREMONY TOOK PLACE ON THE FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY AND MOST OF THE STUDENTS WERE FROM THE MISSIONARY COLLEGE FOR THE PROPAGATION OF THE FAITH. NINE WERE CONGOLESE, SEVEN AUSTRALIANS FIVE INDIANS AND OTHER WERE FROM TANZANIA, SOUTH AFRICA, NIGERIA, KENYA, BURUNDI, TOGO, ZAMBIA, LEBANON, IRAQ, PAKISTAN, CEYLON, VIETNAM, KOREA, CHINA, JAPAN, NEW ZEALAND, IRELAND, THE UNITED STATES AND MEXICO.

    AFTER THE CEREMONY, THE POPE APPEARED AT THE WINDOW OF HIS STUDY AND PRAYED FOR PEACE IN MISSIONARY LANDS DISTURBED BY WAR AND STAINED WITH THE BLOOD OF SAD CONFLICTS.
