    S/V Norma Quales, reporter

Reporter: "These are the Black Hills, South Dakota. 37 million acres rich in gold and uranium. The land originally belonged to the Sioux indians; in fact an 1868 treaty decreed the land to the Sioux forever; but when gold was discovered the indians were forced from the Black Hills"

Reporter: "Their attorney, Martin Sonosky says they should accept because the lands are already lost to the Sioux..."

Martin Sonosky: "Taking this money does not affect your rights to have respect from federal government..."

Russell Means:"....is trying to steel, convince us, for a few dollars, to give up our Palestine, which is the land of the 1868 treaty"

Reporter: "Some of the Sioux Indians say if the settlement offers are rejected, but their land is not returned to them, they will go to the International Court of Justice and have the 1868 treaty upheld"
