    Travelling shot going past army vehicles on road. US ship approaches docks, pushed into position by tug. Front of the ship is opened and ramp attached. Injured soldiers on stretchers are attended to by medical corps on docks. The stretchers are loaded onto trucks.

    We see medical corps soldiers carrying stretchers from the ship and putting them onto the trucks. Soldiers on stretchers smoke cigarettes. Soldier on stretcher on dock gives V sign (for victory). Wounded man with face covered by bandages is carried past us.

    Injured soldiers able to walk come off the ship and board trucks. Some are assisted by medical staff and comrades. Touching scenes of servicemen helping each other.
