The unveiling ceremony seen here took place on 2 May 1928.
The man left of picture at 00:26 is Sir Samuel Hoare, (information which could dispense with the final paragraph).
The man helping Lady Hoare open the door at 00:55 is Mr F. G. L. Bertram, the then Deputy Director of Civil Aviation at the Air Ministry.
Just visible at 00:56 is Lord Thomson, Air Minister in the Labour Government.
