  • Description

Titles read: "WOMEN AND THE WAR".

    United States of America.

Tracking shot from the rear of a train as it travels along the railway tracks. Brief shot inside the train shows new WAAC (Women's Army Auxiliary Corps) recruits on their way to a recruitment camp. When they arrive, we see them being given a medical, having a meal in the mess and getting kitted out with their uniforms. They stand to attention in their new uniforms on a parade ground.

    Quebec, Canada.

In a Quebec tank factory, we see good shots of women workers busy on tank production. The tanks are tried out on the testing grounds (apparently by men).
