My father Allan (Jock) Richardson - (94) is in the last few seconds of this newsreel, holding and kissing the lucky horseshoe. The base they returned to was RAF Marham in Norfolk. My mother and all the schoolchildren in Blairgowrie Perthshire were allowed the day off school to watch this as he was a "local boy". He was a Wop/AG at the time and 20 years old. He ended the war as a commissioned pilot.
