Girls swim in Hampstead Heath ponds in very cold weather.
Title states "Filmed at Ken Wood" (presumably Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath, London). A story about "all-the-year-round bathers."
M/S of girls in running gear jogging around the side of one of the bathing ponds on Hampstead Heath. The girls wave at the camera. "Air temperature 34 degrees - water 39 degrees - with a permanent sinking feeling in the mercury." A woman in a mackintosh pulls a thermometer out of the water to show the temperature. The girls take off their outer garments to reveal swimsuits. They dive in and we see them splashing and swimming about. M/S of the girls standing together and having a cup of tea. The girls laugh. C/U of one of the girls drinking tea, looking very cold and being rubbed down by another woman - possibly her mother. "Modern Spartans!" A group of the girls link arms and jog up and down. The girls then do leap frogs over each other.

Note: flash-frame intertitles. Presumably these are the "ladies' ponds" on Hampstead Heath.
