The Song of the Drum was the "new Drury Lane Spectacle" showing in London.

L/S of the stage with chorus dancing then closer view of some of the dancers. The outfits are Eastern in flavour - possibly representing gypsies or similar.

"And as a dainty contrast - the spectacular fan ballet -" High angle shot of a more civilised dance - women wear evening gowns and swirl around the stage carrying large fans. The dance carries on for some time, the women making patterns with the feathered fans. The dance ends with the women kneeling down and lowering their fans.
