• Short Summary

The whole of a German town turns out to help a couple celebrate fifty years of marriage.

  • Description

Titles read: "We've Been Together Now For Fifty Years!"

    Germany.

Various shots in a small town on the River Danube show a ceremony to celebrate fifty years of marriage (Golden Wedding Anniversary) of a couple who live there. The couple get into a horse drawn carriage that leads a parade through the town. The whole town turns out, most in costumes of the 1880s (?), to watch them, and all join in the traditional dancing beside the river.

Note: there is no paperwork for this issue, and it is difficult to decipher the name of the town - sounds like Grein?
