A Pathe website user has provided extra information about this match. First goal was scored by Hughie Gallagher of Chelsea and Ernie Dixon of Tranmere Rovers. The game was played on 9th January 1932. Captains were Livingstone (Tranmere) and Jackson ( Chelsea ).
