Titles read: 'The Pictorial Record of the Wedding of Margaret Anne Crarer to Thomas Robert Keens at Luton Parish Church on Wednesday, April 5th 1950'.
Smartly-dressed family come walking along garden path and out the front gate to get into cars. Bridesmaids follow. The bride, Margaret Anne Crarer, comes walking down the path on the arm of her father. She wears a white satin wedding dress, quite fitted, with long, slightly flared skirt and a long train and veil. They get into a car.
C/U of sign outside Luton Parish Church of St Mary, giving name of vicar (Canon Davison) and times of services. The bride and her father arrive, get out of the car and walk up the path to the church, watched by a small crowd of people. They pose at the entrance. M/S looking up at the church tower; pan left and down to show the bride and her new husband, Thomas Robert Keens, coming out through the church doors and posing for pictures. Nice closer shot of the newlyweds laughing and smiling - they look very happy. They pose with the bridesmaids, best man and bride's father. Several shots of bride and groom and guests leaving the church, milling about and getting into cars.
Several shots at the reception with the bride and groom greeting guests as they enter. M/S of the three- tiered cake. The bride and groom cut the cake while guests applaud. Champagne toast and speeches. M/S of table displaying wedding presents. Guests look over the gifts.
C/U of sign on back of car showing a car with a 'Just Married' sign on it and the words 'Wait For It Robert!'. The groom carries the bride out to the car as they are showered with confetti. Robert's friends carry him to the other side of the car and put him in. Travelling shot as we follow the newlyweds as they drive through Luton with cans and shoes hanging from the bumper.
