• Short Summary

Lady Patricia Douglas and Count John de Bendern are married at Brompton Oratory.

  • Description

    Titles read: "BROMPTON ORATORY".

    Kensington, London.

Various shots of the crowd waiting outside Brompton Oratory in the rain to catch a glimpse of Lady Patricia Douglas (daughter of the Marquess of Queensbury) and Count John de Bendern (aka John de Forest) on their wedding day.

The bride arrives and goes into the church; her very long tulle train is unfolded by attendants. The newly-married couple appear after the service, get into their car and are driven off by 16 child attendants waving wands in farewell. Quick shots show that several people in the crowd have brought along their babies in prams.

Note: visuals cut out a few seconds before soundtrack.
