M/S of the wooden bridge, two men are stood on it admiring the view, a lady and man also walk across it. L/S of the river and the trees.

    The narrator tells how the river destroyed the town of Lynmouth, but it has now been rebuilt with better defences. M/S of the river flowing over some rocks. M/S of a couple and a white dog sat by the river, M/S of another man smoking a pipe sat on a rock by the river. L/S of the waterfall flowing over the rocks.
