    Miss Wilma Vanne - 'the actress' presents a 'wartime dish that is not rationed'. Cookery demonstration of soft roes and 'baked spuds in their jacket'. We watch how she prepares the 'dainty snack'. She puts salt and milk on roes which are then steamed over saucepan. She cuts top off jacket potatoes and scoops out the insides. She mixes it with the roes and more milk and margarine. They are baked in the oven, she tastes them and smiles.
