• Short Summary

Topical comedy with drag act comedians Warden and West, aka Biddy and Fanny.

  • Description

Warden and West. Part of OKAY FOR HOUNDS issue.

    Pathe Studios, London.

Windmill Theatre drag act - Biddy and Fanny (aka comedians Warden and West). Various shots of two men dressed as old ladies sitting in a set of a drawing room. They bicker and complain about the state of the World. Includes an explanation of the Locarno treaty using the contents of a fruit bowl, world peace, wars caused by politicians' indigestion, segregating Conservatives from Labour and sending all the Liberals to the Isle of Man. Very topical and funny - especially all the deliberate mispronunciations of words.
