    Soldiers buy blank records from overseas Naafi Club. We see one soldier take his record to a recording engineer sitting at sound recording machine. Various shots of soldier reading message into microphone which is copied onto blank record. The soldier seals in his record in special envelope.

    Good shot of a postman walking up garden path, knocking at front door and delivering letter to housewife. Various shots of housewife opening special envelope and putting record from husband on gramophone. Good shots of family listening to recorded message. The dog barks on hearing his master's voice!
