    L/S of pursuit Consolidated PB-2A aeroplane crashing in flames on runway - killing pilot Major Alfred J Waller and badly injuring co-pilot. Crowds and ambulances rush over. We hear exclamations of crowds.

    Note: The crash occurred on 11 December 1937.

    Despite the title card, the location is Langley Field, not Langley Fields.

    The crash occurred on 11 December 1937.

    The plane that crashed was a Consolidated PB-2A. The pilot killed was Major Alfred J Waller.
