"Today, we are met to unveil a memorial which will perpetuate the historic departure as the three small ships, who's intrepid passengers. were to play so important a part in laying the foundation of the American Nation. It will also stand as a token of the ties of friendship which increasingly nations in times of peace, as they have done in time of war.
