A novel race in which the slowest vehicle is the winner, Montmartre, Paris, France.

Good shots of church dome at Montmartre with quaint looking cafe in foreground. C/U road sign: "Place du Tertre". Various shots some of the competitors, most of them on vintage vehicles, driving along crowd lined streets. Various shots the eventual winner M. Sterny, on a motor bike with a companion in the side car. They are driving so slowly M. Sterny has time to read newspaper and smoke a cigarette. Angle shot windmill. Various shots of M. Sterny being congratulated by M. Cabril, the Mayor of Montmartre, as he crosses the finishing line. Gendarmes hold back crowds as Cabril rides slowly past. Quirky!

Date given on old record is 06/10/1946.
