This is Trentham Military Camp, north of Wellington. It was the the first permanent camp for training soldiers in World War One. This is taken probably in 1915 as the camp became increasingly a barrack camp from mid-1915.
After the war it became of the New Zealand Army's main bases and is still in use today. However virtually nothing of the WW1 camp remains.
