Much of this film was made in Denmark.
German officers entering a large vessel is filmed at Langelinie Copenhagen.
(Distinctive promenade behind them is still present as of today 2020.)
The ship is cruiser HMS DIDO. Which was present in Copenhagen on may 12th. 1945.
The german mini subs were filmed at Lynæs Fort where they were assembled for transport/scrapping after the war.
Google map position: 55.947670, 11.857082.
The navy officer, in dark uniform and bright belt, seen climbing into a midget sub, is from the danish Navy.
What is shown at the beginning, is unloading ammuntion from german cruiser Prins Eugen. Stillphoto´s of the unloading and of the german officers on HMS DIDO can be found online.
