  • Short Summary

Three styles of dancing are contrasted - Grecian, ballroom and ballet.

  • Description

Members of the Faculty of Arts perform a dance of contrasts - Modern and Grecian.

M/S of a couple dancing ballroom style through a room with very large open doors which let in the sunshine. Woman at the piano wears most bizarre headgear! A group of girls then come dancing through one of the doors. They are dressed in Grecian style - floaty dresses and no shoes. They hold hands and dance in a graceful style.

"Into the sunshine." - the girls dance in a circle around a large tree trunk. By means of a camera trick they seem to disappear into the tree. "Where did they go to? Never mind, watch this graceful ballet dancer." M/S of a woman dancing in the grounds of a grand house.
