Test pilot Lee Gelback takes a new war plane for the US Navy for a trial flight.
Titles read: "US TEST PILOT AT WORK".
United States of America.
Brief shots of men working on new war planes for the United States Navy in a hangar at the Drummond (Grummond?) Aircraft Corporation. A new biplane is wheeled out of the hangar and test pilot Lee Gelback gets in to give it a trial flight. If the wings stay on at a dive 500 miles an hour the plane is ok for the government.
He fits a cartridge fired by an electric charge into the plane to start it up and takes off. Several shots of the plane in flight.
