Pan across the group as each man is introduced - General Marshall, the Chief of Staff US Army; General Franklyn, Commanding British Forces in Northern Ireland; Mr Andrews, the Prime Minister; Mr Averell Harriman, President Roosevelt's personal representative; General Hartle, Commanding the US Army in Northern Ireland and General Chaney, Commanding the US Army force in Britain.

    American troops march past in a review. Some of them wear their tin hats at a rather natty angle.
