German children, most of them orphans, are educated and cared for at a youth home run by the American Army at Griesheim, near Frankfurt. Several shots of children ice skating. Children sitting at their desks and listening to their teacher - they are learning English. Children writing homework at desks. Several shots, some close up shots, of the girls sewing. Various shots of the children being fed in the Kindergarten. The nurses are American and German. MS. Boys doing carpentry, some of them are building a wooden jeep, American soldiers helping them. Several shots of the children racing in the grounds in home-made wooden jeeps.
