Among those seen are Russian Foreign Minister Andre Vyshinsky, US Secretary of State George Marshall, Australian delegate Colonel Hodgson, Dr Herbert Evatt, US delegate Warren Austen, Czech delegate Jan Masaryk and Mrs Vyayalakshmi Pandit, Indian delegate. A group of Arab delegates are seen going inside.

    Sound cuts in and we hear Paul Spaak in the chair, opening the conference and calling the meeting to order.
