    South Bank, London.

    L/S of a very long crane. As camera tilts down, it reveals a huge building site. Several L/S of the building site, construction workers, bulldozers, constructions. C/U shot of an enormous drill. It starts digging (drilling into the soil). Voiceover talks about the greatness of technology and progress.

    M/S of a man connecting a TV camera. C/U shot of a remote control box as the other man starts operating the camera. There are three reflectors attached on top of the camera. Whole camera construction is attached to the stand which enables it to travel down the hole.

    M/S of the camera travelling down the shaft. The aim of camera being lowered down is to be able to inspect the earth walls to therefore prevent people being sent into potentially dangerous positions.

    High angle shot of the camera being lower down the hole. M/S of a man looking at a little monitor to see the picture. C/U shot of the wall. C/U shot of the man's face looking at the monitor. Cut to a C/U shot of the wall again.
