United States of America - April 1947.
General George Marshall returns from Moscow conference. Plane lands and Marshall comes down from plane to be greeted by President Harry Truman.
Natural sound as we see M/S of Truman speaking into microphones on the airfield, welcoming Marshall back to the States and saying he is pleased with what he's been doing. He shakes hands with Marshall who thanks Truman for coming here to greet him and says the crowd gives some evidence of goodwill and appreciation of the work he and others have been doing.
The officials are driven off in a car as a brass band plays an upbeat march.
