    Title missing. According to issue sheet item shows troops being paid off, British troops mounting guard for last time. Demobbed R.I.Cs (Royal Irish Constabulary) in light-hearted mood leave Ireland forever.

    M/S of group of soldiers outside building marked - Demob Unit. M/S of queue of soldiers at desk in parade ground. Solider at front signs a piece of paper, before saluting and grinning at camera. M/S of soldiers walking past camera carrying bundles - all seem very happy. Some shakes hands with colleagues they are leaving. C/U of crowd of soldiers in black berets, one holds a bag of golf clubs. They mess about for camera - pointing and laughing.

    Intertitle reads: "English troops mount guard for last time".
