    Troop train departure: soldiers are seen off by Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and crowd of civilians.

    Parade of British soldiers coming down street. Another street in town or village: crowds watch as Duke of Connaught and army officers approach, turn & salute to left. Duke inspects troops.

    Train platform: friends & families of soldiers wait to see them off, Duke in foreground talking to two ladies. Closer shot of Duke talking to officer in front of train, soldiers pass carrying gear. MS Duke talking to civilian man. More shots soldier being inspected by Duke. MS Duke with officers.
