An Italian ship comes in to dock in Tripoli harbour, people on dockside and on board cheer and sing. People come down from ship, many appear to be wearing uniform of one kind or another. Men march past a small domed monument. Amongst the men are monks. Parade of men through Tripoli. Lots of cheering and shouting. Shots of locals performing traditional dance for Italians. Pan up palm tree.
N.B. Tripoli and two other North African regions merged into an Italian colony called Libya in January 1935.
