Tommy Trinder coming in and is greeted, then goes down on his hands and knees patting the ground with his hands - gets up and shakes hands with Billy Butlin. SCU. Douglas Bader who has arrived - Charles Forte, Chairman of the National Sporting Club Committee, is here talking to Mr Butlin and other person - coming into camera into full CU. SCU. Len Hutton coming in - shakes hands with a man and then with Mr Butlin. He then stands and talks to them - Forte is also with Butlin. SCU. Group of sportsmen standing talking with drinks in hand. In the group are Jim Laker, Bill Edrich, Leslie Ames and G. O. Allen - not sure about this being the correct order. SCU. Denis Compton - panning to Robins. SCU. Group, Bader, Herbert Sutcliffe, Hutton, camera pans left bringing in Jack Buchanan. GV. The sporting celebrities all standing around.
