Various shots of the aftermath of a train crash that happened when the Detroit express hurled a rear Pullman of the eastbound Cleveland Limited sideways into a freight train on the westbound track.

The three wrecked trains lie mangled and burning as men try to pick through the debris. The freight was carrying oil line pipes that are spread all over the track, blocking rail traffic on a vital main line to the nation's capital.
