The Battle of Trafalgar is recreated on H.M.S. Victory and in a new tableau at Madame Tussaud's.
A brief sequence on board the H.M.S. Victory in Portsmouth shows a reconstruction of the battle of Trafalgar; men in costume run about and fire cannons.
At Madame Tussaud's in London we see various shots of designer Timothy O'Brien putting together a scaled-down model of a new tableau depicting the Battle of Trafalgar from on board the Victory. Several shots then show the making of the waxwork of the dying Nelson; the other figures in the tableau are made of plaster.
Various shots of artists working on the tableau; painting figures, blackening the walls, coiling ropes. Several shots show the finished tableau, complete with smoke, 'cannon' flashes and sound effects.
