Somewhere in Britain, we see various shots of RAF personnel, such as clerks, fitters, armorers and other ground crew, who are not normally trained in warfare, being put through a tough assault course. They climb bridges and walls and cross rivers, under shellfire and through smokescreens. "It's an almost universal idea to equip every man in uniform with muscles of iron and the capacity of a front line soldier" says commentator.
In Florida, United States of America, we see scores of American Air Force men doing exercises in formation in a field as part of their PT training. Then we see the men running into the sea at Miami Beach.
