Tommy Prior tells jokes and gives us some patter in the character of a cheeky schoolboy.

On a set dressed to look like a school yard we see comedian Tommy Prior appear over the top of a wall. He jumps to the ground and goes through his patter in the character of a cheeky schoolboy, eating an orange. He is quite convincing, but comes across as a bit creepy (to me, anyway).
He mentions a lady teacher at their school who asked what drew Christopher Columbus across the Atlantic Ocean. Another boy said "The call of the west" and when she asked what that was, Tommy said "Come up and see me sometime, teacher!". He says there is a wall between the girls and the boys at their school. The boys are fined for climbing over the wall, but Tommy has got a season ticket.
He reads out some questions from his homework - "What is the royal mint? Oh, that's easy, it's what the King has on his new potatoes!". Tommy carries on eating his orange and says he likes them so much they kid him at home about it. When he told his parents he'd got a girl, his Dad went and got a big frying pan to cook him a steak because "he can't go courting on oranges!". We hear a school bell ringing off camera. Tommy waves, says "Woo Woo!" and runs off.
