    CU John Parsons, Pathe reporter, interviews Tommy Handley as he leaves on a visit to the United States of America / USA. He asks if Handley will look for any of the GIs he met in the UK. Handley replies that he hopes so but "the trouble is, it's like looking for Mr Jones in Wales, to try find the GIs I want to meet." After New York, Handley is going to Montreal and then back to Liverpool where he hopes to meet "the finest broadcaster in existence at the moment - my mother! See!". LS Handley with his dog and the ITMA ("It's That Man Again" radio comedy programme) team including script writer Ted Kavanagh, by a Paris Pullman train.
