• Short Summary

Baritone Tom Kinniburgh sings 'Song of the Tramp' in the Pathe Studio.

  • Description

Titles read: "NOW Pathe Pictorial presents Tom Kinniburgh - the well-known Radio, Gramophone, & Concert Singer IN 'SONG of the TRAMP".

    Pathe Studio, London.

On a set dressed to look like a country lane we see baritone Tom Kinniburgh dressed as a tramp and singing the 'Song of the Tramp'.

Shots are intercut showing scenic views of the countryside and sky. The song is about a tramp's life on the country roads, and halfway through he complains (in song) about motorcyclists and hikers intruding into his country idyll.
