M/S of British officers and soldiers escorting General Shampei of Japanese Army down some steps. Shampei is charged with crime of murdering Australian prisoners of war. He wears a bag over his head. We see him being tied to a post. L/S of Shampei being executed by a firing squad. The firing squad are volunteers of the Northamptonshire Regiment.
Note: Okawa appears to show signs of madness.
