    Various shots of fire fighting exercise; a small crowd watches fire engines race to a fire. M/S of fireman in radio control truck relaying message on short-wave radio. We see the radio control team arrive in a van and reporting to officer in charge. The officer despatches the team to different locations around the fire. Each team member wears bulky radio strapped to his chest. Various shots of the team sending messages to each other from different parts of burning building. They report on the state of the fire and missing persons.

    Two of the radio control team are named as Fire Officer Luff and Fireman Morris.
