    Various shots of the Limpley Stoke - Camerton line, which has been closed for two years. M/S's as people stand around. C/U of the name "Thunderbolt" on the engine, the camera pans across it. Various shots of the engine, M/S of carriages with curtains and hanging baskets behind it. C/U driver from back steaming along the track. Very good M/S as it drives past the camera. C/U as it passes stop signal. M/S showing it passing film crew at side of track. Various shots as the train has to be backed up for a retake. M/S big searchlight. C/U Sir Michael Balcon talking to Naunton Wayne and Stanley Holloway. Various shots as they set the scene up again. M/S express driver Ted Burridge (Buridge ?) who is advising the engine's film crew George Relph and Godfrey Tearle how to handle her. M/S of continuity girl typing. M/S as the train steams past again with film crew in foreground.

    "C/U of the name "Thunderbolt" on the engine" - the engine is, in reality, LMR No. 57, "Lion", (it took the role of the Titfield Thunderbolt in the film).

    "M/S of continuity girl typing" - the girl is Felicia Manheim.
