01:16:07 Suffragettes march. One of their banners reads "Taxation without representation is Tyranny". Several of the women carry tricolour flags - it is not clear what for, or what county's flag. In the midst of the march are a male brass band. Women carry their strange spearlike poles.
01:16:26 Troops on manoeuvres in woodland. They carry long rifles with bayonets as they move through the trees. Three soldiers prepare their rifles and two move off (Cannot identify which army they are part of - possibly French). Soldiers digging trenches. Soldiers walking along road.
01:16:45 King George V in Berlin, Germany with his cousin Kaiser Wilhelm II. They climb into an open carriage. Steam train passes over bridge above busy street. An electric tram passes under the bridge (its pantograph is clearly visible). These shots are apparently from the Ruhr Valley in Germany. Large number of people walking into factory. Carriage which passes in front with German writing on the side. High angle shot of massive armaments making factory - lots of artillery gun barrels are in production. (According to the paperwork this is the interior of the famous Krupps factory in Essen).
01:17:19 Troops firing rifles at the shooting range at Bisley, Surrey. Nice shots of the shooting competition. Some of the soldiers are wearing kilts and pith helmets. Man carried on chair shoulder high above crowd (not clear who this is).
01:17:47 Lord Roberts seated on horseback taking the salute at the troop review at Aldershot, Hampshire. Massive number of troops on horseback ride past. King George V and General Kitchener ride past camera on different occasion. Queen Mary walks with military men.
