01:00:30 Pan across crowded fields at Epsom racecourse. Lots of adverts for book makers. Large crowds are gathered to watch the Derby. Names of riders hoisted on display board. 'Prince Monolulu' calling out his predictions for the race. He is an African man wearing an odd costume and holding a walking cane. Cars, buses and charabancs arrive carrying visitors to the race. People are walking along the side of the road.

01:01:25 Troops holding French tricolour flags stand to attention as Marshal Foch and other officers past. C/U men stand around memorial stone inscribed with Marshal F Foch. Crowd stand around to watch as Union Jack flag and tricolour are removed to unveil war memorial statue. British officer unveils obelisk type memorial . He is watched by various civic dignitaries. Pan across war cemetery.
01:02:15 Men and women in swimming costumes. They are seated drinking cups of tea. (One of the men has the word Chiswick on his costume). Mixed group bathing in open air swimming pool. They splash in the water. People dive off various tiers of a diving board.

01:03:27 Beatrice Lillie wedding - M/S There is much excitement and activity among the waiting crowd as the bride exits the church with her new husband (Lord Robert Peel). Members of the crowd and cameramen jostle for the best views of the newly weds. Crowd members shower the couple with confetti. M/S the married couple and various family members in position for the wedding photographs. The bride is holding a large bouquet of flowers while a smartly dressed page boy stands in front. The families appear to share jokes as they smile and laugh

People in punts on the river.
01:05:45 Fairground scenes. People in the best clothes wander amongst tents and marquees. Dark skinned woman hands out flowers to passers by. The recipient hands over a coin. Fairground ride - carousel with wooden horses.
01:06:15 Warships at sea. C/U white ensign flying from stern of one of the boats. A naval vessel comes in to dock. Sailors line the deck. A flower covered coffin is on the deck. The ship is bearing the body of the unknown soldier back from France. Field artillery fire salute. Military parade. Coffin carried on gun carriage. Officers and men walk in procession. C/U King George V at Cenotaph, behind him is Prince of Wales (Later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor). High angle shot King George V with wreath . The unveiling of the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. Union Jack flags fall to reveal the memorial. The King carries forward his wreath as does David Lloyd George, Prime Minister. King places smaller wreath on coffin of Unknown soldier. Coffin drawn away from Cenotaph on gun carriage.
01:07:45 High angle shot of French, Belgian and British troops in Germany. Marching in town square. M/S Allied soldier on horseback. Troops continue to march.
01:08:03 Germany fighter biplanes piled high in scrap yard where they are being broken down. Man using hammer to break up engine blocks. More scrapped aircraft. Men breaking up wagons. Men cutting up artillery gun barrels with cutting tool. The end of the barrel falls off.
