    01:04:14 Men visit war graves cemetery. Many of them are wearing medals.

    01:04:21 Shell scarred French town. A market is taking place in the town square amidst the damaged buildings. German prisoners of war on dockside in England. They board a ship along a gangplank.

    01:04:53 Biplane fighter aircraft. C/U pilot in flying hat. Mail bags loaded. Plane takes off.

    01:05:21 British soldier standing on bridge holding rifle. Tank drives through town square. British soldier keeps back the crowd watching. Large crowds outside building in Germany. They are at a political meeting. Men on horseback ride past. Men in odd hats, carrying guns. Large crowds roused by speaker.

More people climb on and the lorry sets off with a plume of exhaust fumes. High angle shot of Liverpool docks - empty. Street scene with boarded up shops. Troops on the street. Tanks in a town square.
