    01:41:54 VS of White Cliffs of Dover. Men of the Local Defence Volunteers (LDV) or Home Guard on guard. VS of women collecting fish caught on barbed wire sea defences.

    01:42:23 CU Woman radio / radar operator. VS German bombers taking off. Air to air bombers. Radar woman passes message onto WRAFs in plotting room. They move markers on map. VS of men of the Observer Corps on the look out with binoculars. Shots of Heinkel bombers flying over. Observers pass on sighting and plotters show the advance. VS of Royal Air Force (RAF) Fighter pilots at scramble. Hurricanes are readied and take off from airfield. VS as woman leads children to air raid shelter. Anti-aircraft guns start firing as a dog-fight starts above - classic Battle of Britain material. German bombers start to drop bombs. VS of dog fight - including Spitfires. VS of German Stuka dive bombers taking off. More shots as plotting room get details. More scramble scenes. VS of Stuka raid on convoy of ships near Dover Harbour. An RAF pilot who bailed out into the sea is picked up by Naval patrol boat. Planes come back to land. VS of shot down German planes and captured German pilots. Shots of shot down Italian plane. Captured Italian pilots are paraded in front of crowds. RAF Men back on land chat over fighting.
